Why are we Here?
1. We are here for God’s Glory.
Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
2. We are Here as God’s Children.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:13. We are Here in God’s Service.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human bosses Colossians 3:23
4. We are Here on God’s Mission.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

you’ve got to live life
living means that every morning when you wake up you have to choose
between seizing what life offers in the moment and forging ahead, no matter what the weather
or closing the curtains and shutting out the day

What will happen, will happen. You can fight it and worry about it and struggle against it. Or you can go with it. And see where the current takes you.

“With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” (2 Chronicles 32:8, NKJ)
When you abide in Him, the Creator of the universe says, “I myself will come against your enemies. I myself will come against that sickness. I myself will come against those who oppose you.” It says God is the one who caused Hezekiah’s enemy to turn around. That means God can cause that unfair boss to take an early retirement. God can cause that neighbor that’s giving you so much trouble to decide to pack up and move. God can cause that classmate to be transferred to another school.
Today, no matter what’s coming against you, keep pressing into God. Put His Word first place in your life. Honor Him in all that you do. Let Him fight your battles and bring you into the land of victory He has prepared for you!
